I've read somewhere that at certain restaurants everyone doesn't have to use a dinning credit. Which restaurants would that be at?

    Hi Winter!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Disney Dining Plan is something I use every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the flexibility and convenience it offers - and also the great savings on dining all around the Resort. While it is true that everyone on the same Resort Reservation must be using the same Dining Plan, it can be enjoyed to suit everyone's individual needs. It is also not linked to any actual dining reservations. It could not be easier to use, and when your party sits down to eat in any of the restaurants around Walt Disney World, let your server know that some of you will be using your dining plan, and others will be paying by another method. Likewise if you are dining at a Quick-Service Restaurant, you may all want to use a different amount of credits. For example someone might like to add a dessert by using one of the Snack credits, and others may not. It is entirely up to each individual Guest how they use their entitlements, and providing there are enough credits left on your account, you can use them in any way you please. The Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure, and if at any time you need to check your Dining Plan balance you can do so by asking for a print-out at the Front Desk of your Resort hotel, or by asking your server at the restaurant you are dining in, or by checking your dining receipt.

Dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation.
