I've read that seating for Fantasmic is no longer guarenteed with the dining package. We are booked at H&V. Are we still able to go in the "special" entrance 1/2 hr or so before the show and seat in the reserved section? Please set the record

    Hello, Jan!

We have used the special VIP seating that goes along with the Fantasmic Dining Experience twice this year, and have arrived 45 minutes prior to showtime; both times, we've gotten excellent seats!

Because crowd levels vary from day of the week to time of year, it's quite possible that you could arrive 1/2 hour prior to showtime and get a great VIP seat through your Fantasmic booking. However, it's also possible that they will all be gone. When I booked my Fantasmic package for later this month, we were advised to arrive about an hour before the show begins, because seating is not guaranteed. This means, in my opinion, that you're guaranteed VIP seating until it's full, at which point, you are out of luck. Thus, we arrive early (at that special entrance) and get those great seats for the show.

Hope that helps! Send more questions about this or any other aspect of your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! I love to help!
