Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    I have read that the resort gift shops sell beer & wine but do they sell liquor? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Also the last time we were there was in 2001 and there was a store at Downtown Disney that was a grocery/deli. Is it still there

    Hi Sophia! First, I have to say I love your name - it's also my daughter's! :)

    The shops located in every Walt Disney World resort, including Wilderness Lodge do sell a small selection of beer, wine and liquor too. There won't be too many choices and the hard liquor may be in the form of tiny bottles, but it is still available. I have found that the resorts with Disney Vacation Club properties do have a larger selection of food and drink items because of the kitchens in the rooms, so you should be good at Wilderness Lodge.

    The grocery/deli which once resided at Downtown Disney Marketplace was replaced with the Earl of Sandwich in 2004. They do have some wonderful sandwiches there so stop by if you can!
