I have read reports on the internet that you can buy a slice of grapefruit cake at Starring Rolls, even though it is not in the menu. Is this accurate?? If not, what is the best way to get a slice without eating a whole meal at the Brown Derby?

Hi Angela - That grapefruit cake is my favorite dessert at Walt Disney World. I tried to recreate it in my own kitchen several years ago and failed. I absolutely have to eat a slice during every visit.

Although the grapefruit cake is not on the menu at Starring Rolls, I have been able to get a slice there. If you ask the cast members, they are able to go into the Brown Derby and get a slice. It's possible that they may not always be able to do that, especially if there's a long line, but I've never had a problem.

I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
