I have read some recent reviews of Hollywood and Vine and they weren't very positive. We have never eaten there, we have ADR for Nov. 4 @4:45 which is considered Dinner. Is it worthwhile to eat there for Dinner? Or should we pick a different one? Suggestio

    Hi Chantelle,

My family just ate at the Hollywood & Vine for dinner this last June.  I have always avoided making reservations because my children are picky eaters, and I wasn't sure if they would eat well there.  I was actually pleasantly surprised.  It is a buffet with salads and carved meats.  They had a variety of chicken dishes as well as vegetables.  There was a pasta bar which my 14 year old son just loved.  There was a variety of breads and fresh fruits.  For dessert, there was lots of pastries, brownies, and a self serve ice cream machine.  Overall, the food was good, and the service was great. All three of my children have asked to return there for dinner.  I personally would probably choose the 50s Prime Time Cafe or the Sci-fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant for the unique setting and food choices, but I would also have no problem returning there for a meal.  Enjoy!
