Hi, I have read many questions & helpful answers regarding the Backstage Magic Tour; however, some of these are from previous years. What does the most current tour include? Is the lunch at Whispering Canyon or elsewhere as previously posted? Thank y

    Hi Autumn,

I love the Backstage Magic Tour so much that I've done it on more than one occasion. This Tour focuses on how the Cast Members (CMs) work together to bring all the magic together. It lasts approximately 7-hours & covers a lot of ground. You go backstage at all 4 of the theme parks & see some super cool things. I don't want to give all the surprises away but here are some highlights.

You'll visit Creative Costuming at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is where they make the awesome costumes for parade & stage performers and the princesses. You'll also get to check out one of the ride vehicles at Tower of Terror & learn some super cool things about how it works - fascinating to say the least!

At Magic Kingdom, you'll get to go in the utilidors. For a Disney fanatic like me, just watching all the CMs getting ready to appear "on stage" is super exciting.

At Epcot, you'll see how the American Adventure show comes to life. These audio-animatronics have their own hair & make-up artists - pretty cool.

At Animal Kingdom, you'll get up close & personal with the floats from Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade & then see the parade on-stage.

We also visited the Walt Disney World Nursery & Tree Farm. Here is where all the incredible topiaries that you see come to life.

I loved visiting areas like Central Shops where they make lots of things including parade floats. Keep in mind that all the glitz is "on-stage" & the backstage areas is where all the prep work happens.

Lunch is still at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. The food is awesome!  Don't forget to save room for dessert - de-lish! Please let me know if you have other questions about it. I think you'll love the Backstage Magic Tour. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
