I read other questions about CRT and all refer to making reservations 90 days prior. I just called to make reservations, they told me you can make reservations for CRT 6 months prior and it was booked our entire stay. Really annoyed, any suggestions?

    Hi Sandra,

I would be frustrated too!  I am guessing that you have just recently called for a reservation in mid-June?  Effective December 23, 2008 Disney transitioned all of their booking windows for advanced dining reservations to 90-days.  What most likely happened in your situation is that guests that had entered their 180 day booking window prior to December 23, 2008 were able to make make their early and mid-June 2009 reservations.  Disney is honoring all dining reservations that were booked prior to the transition, and this is probably why you had difficulty finding availability.

I would suggest that you keep checking back, cancelations happen and the more flexible you can be on your times probably the greater success you would have a securing a reservation.

If all else fails, it never hurts to try a walk up.  No-shows although not common, they're not unheard of.

I'm really sorry this change has affected your plans, I hope you have a great trip!
