I have read other questions and answers about this question but I wanted to double check since the last post about it was in 2010. Are you allowed to take sandwiches and snacks into the parks? Thanks!

    Hello, Bethany,

You are absolutely welcome to bring your own food into the parks.  One restriction, however, is that the food not require heating. Also, please don't bring any alcohol or glass (except for baby food) into the parks. You may also want to look over the Park Rules that share information about restrictions for coolers and wheeled devices in case you are planning on using one.  There are also Locker Rentals available if you'd like to store your food in there, but please note there is no refrigeration.

By the way, we have regularly have seen guests unpacking food for assorted meals when we have been on our trips, and there are plenty of places where you can sit to eat, too, in the parks. In fact, would you believe a family brought in an entire Thanksgiving dinner to the Magic Kingdom this last year; they even wore pilgrim costumes! You can read about them by just doing an internet search for Thanksgiving Dinner at the Magic Kingdom by Steve Bloom.

Thank you for your question; if you have any further ones, please let us know. We are happy to help!  -Kara
