I read on another question that you can do early morning power walks through the California Adventure if you're staying at the Disneyland Hotel. Can you tell me more about this? Is there a specific time of year that this occurs?

    Hi, Kathleen!

I really enjoyed participating in the "Get Up and Go" Power Walk, a 45-minute brisk walk (about two miles) through Disney California Adventure Park before it opens to the public in the morning. The walks are guided by a Disneyland Resort Cast Member, and they are a great way to get exercise, learn fun facts and get an exclusive, quiet peek at the park!

Actually, the power walk is just one of many activities available to Disneyland Resort hotel guests each day. While I believe the walk is offered year-round (weather permitting) it may not be offered every day of your stay. Be sure to ask which activities are available when you check in at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Disneyland Hotel or Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Also, Guests usually receive a schedule of hotel events for the next day with the nightly turn-down service. Some activities are open to anyone while others may require that you sign up or pay an additional fee to participate.

I hope this helps, Kathleen, and that you have a wonderful Disneyland Resort visit!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
