    Hi! I read that you can purchase merchandise with MagicBand and the amount goes to the hotel room. I'd like to know if you can charge money on the MagicBand cause I don't want to use my credit card to pay all the things I buy. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Nicolas:

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for sending us your question.  You are correct.  If you choose to link your credit card to your MagicBand, you will be able to purchase merchandise throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  When I visit, I prefer to pay cash for my purchases, however I like using my MagicBand for purchases so I am not carrying around cash or gift cards.  What I like to do is link my credit card to my account for purchases, however pay the balance owing before my credit card is charged.  I have found that my credit card is charged the night before I check out, or once I hit a certain amount, so I like to visit the front desk every few days and pay my balance.  I would suggest that you ask the Cast Member upon your arrival at what point during your vacation your credit card will be charged, so that you can pay your balance prior to that.
