I read this on a previous question about Mickeys BBQ " if you do not have your tickets, you need to be at the show 40 minutes prior to retrieve them." Tickets? I am using the dining plan and have made reservations, Do I need to Pick up tickets so

    Hi Beth:

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am happy to hear you are considering attending Mickey's Backyard BBQ.  There is truly something for everyone during this experience, I'm sure your family will love it.  Every time my family and I have been to this dinner show, we have needed to pick up a paper ticket prior to the experience, even if we have used the Disney Dining Plan.  Guests who are attending this dinner show will need to stop by the concierge at their Disney Resort before the show, to pick up their tickets.  I like doing this on my first day, just to know I have all my tickets, and that way I don't need to wait in line later during my vacation.

If you are not staying at a Disney Resort, I would recommend arriving at the venue at least a half hour early, possibly even earlier, in order to pick up your tickets.  You don't want to miss any of the experience!  When we have gone to Mickey's Backyard BBQ there has always been some characters available for pictures and autographs prior to the experience beginning. This may make the early arrival more fun!

I hope you have a great time at Walt Disney World Resort Beth.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
