    I read that some ppl split their stay between 2 resorts how would I go about doing this? We would also want the dining plan. We are interested in coming in value season staying at GF and somewhere else, any recommendations? Thanks

    You are correct that many people like to  "sample" two or more resorts while on vacation at Walt Disney World.  I've done this successfully and seamlessly many times thanks to the help of the valet and bell services at each resort I'm visiting.  Simply let bell services know the day before you are planning on checking out of your first resort and into your second, and they will make arrangements to retrieve your luggage, move it to your new resort, and have it delivered to your new room.  It truly is not a cumbersome process and minimally interrupts your stay in my experience.  As for where to stay other than Grand Floridian, I'd suggest something in the Epcot Resort Area.  The Yacht Club, Beach Club and BoardWalk are all spectacular, deluxe properties (similar to Grand Floridian) and are a wonderful venue to call "home" for all or part of a Disney vacation.  Since you will have stayed in the Magic Kingdom resort area, moving closer to Epcot will enable you to walk or take a quick boat ride to both this park and Hollywood Studios.
