I read all of the posts on the Be Our Guest Restaurant for the QSR lunch and still have confusion about lunch reservations. At other QSR venues you wait in line, order, receive and take your meal to your table. Why is a reservation available for lunch?

Bonjour James, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by today with your question.

Be Our Guest Restaurant is certainly a unique experience. From the majestic Grand Ballroom to the darkly mysterious West Wing, Guests who dine here find themselves immersed in the "Tale as Old as Time" that is Belle and Beast's love story in Beauty and the Beast.

While dinner at Be Our Guest has always been a table-service affair, lunch (and now breakfast, too) is a bit of a combination of quick-service convenience with the feel of a sit-down meal. You order your food in advance online or at a kiosk when you arrive, collect your silverware, napkins and beverages, and find your way to a table. Then, the magic really begins. Wherever you happen to be seated, your meal will find you as a server delivers it to you (on real plates, not plastic), and from the first delectable bite you'll understand why this is such a popular spot. It's French cuisine with an American flair that's unlike any other quick-service restaurant in the park.

Before Be Our Guest started accepting reservations, Guests would line up for hours before the restaurant opened for lunch. Now that you can make a reservation and place your order before you even arrive, it's much easier to experience this wonderful place.

I hope this helps give you a better understanding of how lunch at Be Our Guest works, James. If you have any other questions, please come visit us again. We love to help!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
