I read from another posting that there is an opportunity to go to MK early and have time with Mickey and Minnie but this is something you need to be at the right time and place for. Could you please explain more about what this is and the steps we take?

    Hi Lisa!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One lucky party gets selected to be in the Magic Kingdom Opening Show. The family or party is picked at random, but typically the party selected arrived at the Magic Kingdom about 90 minutes (more in busier times of the year) before the park is scheduled to open. The party also usually interacts with the various Disney Cast Memebrs out there in the early morning; at some point a party or family is asked to participate in the morning show.  You really have to be in the right place at the right time.

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
