I read a post about spending limits for your children on their MagicBands, can you put the gift card amount on them or can I apply that amount to my account and then put that on their bands? We have 3 (9, 6, & 3) that got gift cards for Christmas

    Hi there, Audrey!

Disney Gift Cards make such wonderful gifts for kids with an upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, don't they?

I was thinking along these same lines when my family was visiting last week as both of my teenagers received Disney Gift Cards for Christmas as well. We stopped by and spoke with Guest Services to see if there could be a spending limit applied to each of their MagicBands, but unfortunately, there isn't a way to do that at this time; there is only the capability of saying "yes" or "no" to charging privileges on each of the MagicBands. The Cast Member I spoke with suggested that we stop by the front desk of our Resort hotel each evening and let the kids pay their balance off with their respective gift cards. This way, they could keep track of what they had left as they used their gift cards in the Theme Parks each day.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel, Audrey! Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
