Hi, Michele!
You can certainly walk from the Grand Floridian to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). You will have to walk through the walkways at the Polynesian Village Resort to get there. While this is a lovely walk, it will take you about 25-30 minutes. It would definitely be faster to
hop on the monorail at the Grand Floridian, but if you are not in a hurry, this is a great way to explore the Polynesian Village Resort. You will even pass the beautiful Wedding Pavilion along the way. If time allows, stop by the Polynesian's Great Ceremonial House for a lovely flower lei at the front desk, or walk past the DVC bungalows along the beach of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
I have done this walk many times, as it so peaceful. It is one of the few walks around Walt Disney World where you feel like you are the only one on property. Not many guests use the walkway between the Grand Floridian the Polynesian, so it is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the parks.
Enjoy your stroll around the Seven Seas Lagoon on your way to the TTC!
