Ahoy there, Christina!
I’m so excited to hear you’re planning a
Disney Cruise Line vacation this spring! Thank you for reviewing our
past questions on planDisney; it’s a great resource whether the question was asked by you or just for browsing – we have a treasure trove of Disney knowledge here for all Guests.
There’s nothing like fresh, hot, buttery salty popcorn to snack on during one of the incredible live performances at the
Walt Disney Theatre or one of the movie theatres onboard a Disney cruise ship. I confirmed that popcorn buckets from either Disney Parks or a past Disney Cruise Line voyage will not be honored onboard. You can purchase a souvenir bucket during this cruise and receive discounted refills on popcorn for the length of your cruise at any location selling freshly popped popcorn onboard.
The live entertainment onboard is truly not to be missed! I love that my son has been able to see these Broadway-style performances in a show length that captured his attention at a young age. We are a family of movie buffs at home, but there’s something special knowing you can watch
favorite films and new releases onboard throughout the day and into the night! One of my family traditions is to catch a nighttime showing on the pool deck through Funnel Vision. We bring
complimentary room service goodies (my husband loves the wings), Mickey bars, and often popcorn up on deck for the show. It feels so unique and like we’re really on vacation to be watching a favorite movie under the stars while out at sea together.
I hope this clarifies the ongoing policy onboard regarding popcorn buckets, Christina. Please come back with any further questions as you finalize details for this magical vacation.
Thanks for “popping” by!
Amy
