Hiya Colleen - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for swinging by to ask a question - we love helping Guests just like you plan their very own, very magical,
Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Currently, the Fuentes del Morro Pool at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which is the larger primary pool at the Resort, will be closed for routine maintenance from January 2024 through April 2024. It looks like you'll be visiting in 2023, so based on the current refurbishment schedule, the pool should be available during your visit! If that schedule were to change, or the main pool is unavailable for any other reason, there are
five other leisure pools at Caribbean Beach for Guests to enjoy!
Refurbishments are planned far in advance to allow Guests the opportunity to change their plans if needed. For example, if you did need to make alternative plans,
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort offers similar amenities and pricing as Caribbean Beach!
The two
Water Parks at Walt Disney World Resort are another great way to cool off in the Florida heat! Historically, at least one of the two Water Parks is open every day of the year, weather permitting. They do temporarily close for severe weather and cold temperatures from time to time. Currently,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is open for Guests to enjoy, and
Disney's Blizzard Beach is temporarily unavailable while it undergoes a refresh - we don't yet have a date for Blizzard Beach to reopen. So, to answer your question, weather permitting, it looks like you're in for a ton of splish-splashing fun!
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning -
please stop by again with any additional questions!
