Hi Gretchen,
Your trip is coming up VERY soon. How exciting! And even though it’s not a Death Star, I think Disney is proud of this technological wonder (magic bands) they've constructed.
At this time, all attractions that capture that perfect moment, via photo or video, will automatically link them to your account, provided you are wearing an active
MagicBand. You may also scan your MagicBand or park ticket at the touch point, at the end of the ride.
You can view the photos or videos in your account online at
My Disney PhotoPass, or via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Remember that a
Memory Maker entitlement is required to download and share them, and that they will expire 45 days after they are taken.
If you haven't yet, make sure you purchase Memory Maker ahead of time at a discount. If you are only visiting for a day or two, there’s a new option available exclusively via the My Disney Experience mobile app: Memory Maker One Day, for only $59. Note that this option must be purchased on the same day and only when you are inside a park.
With new attraction photos and videos, and the magic shots the
PhotoPass photographers take, you will surely capture that perfect memory. Remember to come back with any questions you may have.
Ricardo.
