I read about a pirate makeover for kids? Can't find anything about it now. I have a 9 yr old DD who is more pirate than princess. She would like to do this but is uneasy about being the only girl. Do you have any info about this? Thx! Lori in Chas, SC

    Hi there Lori!

Thanks for writing!  You are correct that guests can be transformed into pirates at the Pirates League located at the Magic Kingdom.  Fear not, this experience is absolutely not just for boys.  In fact, a bunch of my Moms Panel Pals and I were transformed into Pirate Princesses last June!  Disney Mom Anna's daughters had makeovers as well, and had a wonderful time.  (There's a video of us at the Pirates League on this site under "Moms on Planning," entitled "Pirates League" if you'd like a sneak peak of what the experience is like.)  Your daughter should absolutely feel comfortable heading over, casting her "land-lubber" name aside and being made over into a true pirate.  For more information, or to make reservations, call 407- WDW-CREW (939-2739), or click HERE.

    Have a magical trip!
