    I have just read about a PHOTOPASS+ and i am cunfused. I preordered a photopass CD to save money and thought I could get a few cards and use them all over, on rides, at character eats. SO what is the difference between photopass & photopass+

    Hello, Doug!

    Don't worry! Your original understanding of your pre-purchased PhotoPass CD is correct!  You absolutely saved money by pre-purchasing, and can certainly use a few different PhotoPass cards throughout Walt Disney World Resort on your upcoming vacation. When you get home, just log into your PhotoPass account, and add in the codes listed on the back of your multiple cards so that all of those photos will be added to your PhotoCD.

    Should you wish to upgrade to the newly-introduced PhotoPass+, you can easily do so by by stopping by any of the view stations throughout Walt Disney World parks, Downtown Disney and several resorts.  Just bring the name, phone number and email address that you used when you purchased your original PhotoCD; you'll have to pay the difference between whatever price you paid for your PhotoCD and the current price of PhotoPass+.  This might be convenient for you should you want to add those attraction photos as well as character dining pics which include Print Packages.  (All of these images will be scanned and added to your PhotoPass+ for no additional charge.)

    If you're on Facebook, there's a great "Frequently Asked Questions" section which was posted on the Disney PhotoPass Service.  If you're not on Facebook, the same information has also been posted on WDWnewstoday.com. If you can access Facebook, however, I suggest you go there, since there is a very helpful thread including multiple posts by Disney PhotoPass Service, helping to answer the many questions which Guests have asked thus far.
