Hi Moms, I just read about a past Mom Heather M. traveling to WDW with Cancer, my Mom has been recently diagnosed with cancer, and if she can still come, I was wondering if they still give out a special pass as Heather stated in her answer?

Hi, Stephanie!  I am so sorry that your mom - and your family - has to go through this!  Please know you will all be in my prayers, and I'll be thinking good thoughts for your mom.

The pass Heather mentioned is called the Guest Assistance Card, and you can get one at any of the theme parks simply by going to guest relations.  Let them know the circumstances of your mom's illness, and then you take the pass to the cast member at each attraction.  In many cases, they will put your family in the fast pass line, which will move you quickly to the front of the line for the attraction.  In cases where there is no fast pass line, the cast members will do whatever they can to help accommodate your mother.  It may mean giving her a place to sit instead of standing in line, and it may mean offering an alternative entrance.  It will vary by attraction, but I know they do all they can to make sure your mom will have as little inconvenience as possible.

We are sending as much pixie dust as we can your way!  I hope your mom is still able to make this vacation with you!
