Read panel everyday...I am bringing my daughter for her 21st birthday celebration in Aug. What are the best snacks in DW? I have heard of the carrot cake cookie in HS...and its on the list...any other not to miss snacks in MK, Epcot or HS...

    Hi Tammy!

I think a trip to Walt Disney World sounds like a perfect way to celebrate your daughter's birthday. Bravo!

The classic snacks (e.g. ice cream, popcorn, etc.) are pretty easy to find, so I'll try to throw out a few of my favorite "special" snacks in each of the theme parks you mentioned.  When I say "special," I really mean: "so good that I'm actually thinking about packing some bags and dragging my family to the airport now so we can get some."

    The Magic Kingdom:

    1) Pretty much anything from the glass case in the Confectionery on Main Street, U.S.A. (I'm partial to the chocolate-covered S'more sandwiches!)
    2) A Dole Whip from The Aloha Isle in Adventureland. (A cult classic!)
    3) Chocolate-dipped fruit kabobs from Big Top Souvenirs and Treats in Fantasyland.

    Epcot:

    1) Pretty much anything from the glass case in Karamell-Kuche in the Germany pavilion.
    2) The crepes from Crepes des Cefs de France in the France pavilion.
    3) The strawberry shortcake from the Sunshine Seasons restaurant inside The Land pavilion.

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:

    1) The Butterfinger cupcake at the Starring Rolls Cafe.
    2) Fudge from The Scary Apothecary Candy Shop. (I'm partial to the chocolate-mint variety.)
    3) Belly-up to the bar at the Tune-In Lounge and sweet-talk the bartender into serving you a Boston Cream Parfait.

Honestly, this was a really tough list to come up with because there are so many awesome snack choices at Walt Disney World. I'm glad to hear that you have the carrot cake cookie on your list; you definitely won't regret it! I hope everything else I listed measures up just as well.

If there are any other questions you may have as you finalize your plans, please feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Bon Appetit!

    Best regards,
    Derek
