I read on the panel, aunts that are Florida residents can purchase tickets for their nieces and nephews out of state as gifts. Is that true and if so, when they pick up the tickets as Disney can the tickets be linked to a reservation?

    Hi Stacie!

Any adult 18 and older purchasing Walt Disney World Florida resident discounted tickets must show proof of Florida residency to be able to pick up and use the tickets.  Florida residents can, however, purchase tickets for children who are age 17 and under, so if the nieces and nephews are 17 and under, their Florida resident aunt can certainly gift them to the kids.  The aunt will need to pick these tickets up at Walt Disney World in person and show Florida identification.

These tickets can be linked to a My Disney Experience account by entering the ticket number on the back of the card on the "Link Tickets" page of the Walt Disney World website.  After entering the ticket number, a guest will need to be chosen to link to these tickets.  Once the tickets are linked to each guest, you're ready to go!

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
