Hi Moms, I read that the Orlando bus Lynx is available to take you off grounds. We are staying at POFQ where would we get the bus and is there a transfer point in Orlando or do they take you to specific places? Could you give me info about other options?

We have utilized the Lynx bus system.  I would suggest going to the Lynx website and select trip planner.  The bus will pick you up at Disney's Ticketing/Transportation Center located just beside Disney's Polynesian Resort. I found driving or a cab was a better mode of transportation when leaving the resort area.  The buses can take you to specific places, but will require multiple stops.  These stops will require changing buses.  The route stops when disembarking are located on some busy roads.  We took kids to Universal one day using the Lynx system.  We changed buses I believe 3 times.  It took us just under 2 hours and getting on and off multiple buses was quite stressful.  We have since either driven to Walt Disney World or if we fly we generally will rent a car for two days if we are planning a trip to another location in the Orlando area.
