    hi, i read online that the magic kingdom has a "sensory room" by the first aid station? it was described as a "quiet room with soft lighting where people with sensory issues could take a break" i have an autistic child

    Hi there Ceason. I'm the mom of a little girl with sensory processing issues and so, I completely understand the need to research the "take a break" options for your child prior to leaving home on your Disney vacation.

    I placed a call to Disney directly to obtain information for your question. I was informed that there is a quiet, dimly lit room with rocking chairs available for breast feeding moms that is sometimes utilized by parents to help a fussy child calm down when not currently occupied. It is adjacent to the First Aid Station and is available on a first come, first serve basis. The Magic Kingdom First Aid Station and Baby Care Center are both located next to the Crystal Palace restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A.
