I read on one of the sites that the staterooms on the Cruise Line will hold up to five people. Are those the cat. 11 or 10 rooms? Does a new born count as a full priced adult on the Disney Cruise? He will be 10 months. Thank You.

It is my understanding that Maritime Law requires that infants are counted in the room occupancy limits. This is vastly different from hotel occupancy procedures at Walt Disney World where you may have an infant age 3 or under in a crib in addition to the maximum posted occupancy limit. While your child will be old enough to sail, I would like to mention for other guests that infants must be older than 12 weeks of age prior to the sailing date.

Category 10 and 11 staterooms sleep 3-4 guests.

For a family of 5, consider connecting category 10 staterooms (category 11 do not connect) or a Deluxe Family Stateroom in Category 4 which sleep 4-5 guests.

If there are two adults in the stateroom, Disney Cruise Line discounts the fares of the children in your cabin. Children under 3 are currently only charged taxes and fees.
