I read on one of the posts that your favorite time to travel is June. We are planning a trip to WDW in June 2014 and was wondering about the weather and crowds? Thanks! PS. this will be our 2nd trip to WDW. First time was 11/2011

    Hi Antonia!

I am excited to assist you with your direct question, thank you for asking! You are going to have so much fun on your second vacation in June at Walt Disney World Resort!

The weather in June has been pleasant and bearable. The temperatures average about 85-95 degrees during the day and about 70-75 degrees in the morning and at night. Some afternoons we have experienced rain showers but they have had no bearing on our day because there are so many alternate activities that can be enjoyed during this time. Having said that, don't forget to have your ponchos handy just in case you are waiting in line for an attraction when the showers occur. The showers generally do not too last long, which is great.

We have found the crowds during the first two weeks of June to be lower than they are closer to the end of June. The wait times have been doable; however, I would recommend that you utilize the FASTPASS service as often as you can to maximize your time in the theme parks. One thing that we like to do is start our day at the parks early in the morning, take a break during lunchtime to eat and rest, and then continue the fun in the evening.

I love to travel during this time because our vacations occur right after the school year has ended and that gives me what I need to enjoy the rest of my summer. We have traveled at the beginning and end of June and each time, we have had a great time.

Please let me know if you have additional questions, because I would love to assist you with your vacation!

    Have a magical vacation!
