I read in one of your other answers that you have traveled to Disney at the beginning of June. We are planning on either second week of June or week before Memorial Day. Can you offer any advice on weather and crowds for these time periods? Thank you!

Carla, thank you for sending a question my way. I love to hear from guests directly.

Packing up the minivan and leaving the house to see the mouse as soon as school gets out in early June or for a long weekend over Memorial Day is a tradition in our family. The week before Memorial Day is a superb choice for a Walt Disney World visit since few families pull children out of school so close to summer break. Low crowds and temps a tinge lower than in early June make this week your better choice. Just be aware Star Wars Weekends will be held in Hollywood Studios during this time. Crowds are quite manageable the second week in June, however, if you do decide to pick the latter week.

Expect highs in the upper 80s with some days hitting over 90 and occasional afternoon thunderstorms. On rainy days head for a park the second the skies clear. The crowds will be thinned out and the temperatures cooler. If your party can handle being wet, throw ponchos on and enjoy low lines during the rain.

Let me know if I can assist you in anyway as you continue to plan your trip to visit Mickey.
