i read in one of your answers that most disneyworld transportation modes accept motorized scooters but they take time and effort, do they have to be disassembled to be put on the bus?

    Hi Vickianne!

You are correct that most of the Walt Disney World Resort buses are equipped to handle motorized scooters.  Probably, the comment about taking time and effort simply refers to the time it takes to load the scooter.

Basically, the bus driver will first put out the ramp for the scooter.  The scooter will load onto the bus, and then the bus driver helps the scooter driver line it up in order to secure it on the bus.  It has to be secured before the bus can continue.  It does not have to be disassembled.

I have found that the bus drivers are very adept at this, and the wait time is minimal.  I am not a patient person, by nature, and the loading and unloading of scooters has never bothered me at all, as a fellow passenger on the bus.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
