Hi Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney!
This is a very good question as it is so important to remember to keep everyone hydrated in the Florida heat. An easy way to do this is by requesting a free cup of iced water at any Quick-Service or Table-Service restaurant across Walt Disney World Resort - at the theme parks and at the Disney Resort hotels. As you are staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort, you will be frequenting
Everything POP Shopping and Dining for all your food and drink requirements when you are at the hotel. Mobile ordering is recommended for Quick-Service restaurants at this time, but you can request free iced water when you collect your order - just talk to the Cast Member who serves you. Walk-up ordering may also still be available at this location, and if so, you can request your iced water when you place your order.
By using your
My Disney Experience mobile app, you can place
mobile food orders at a time to suit you. Just tap the 3 horizontal lines at the bottom right corner of the screen, then select 'Mobile Food Orders'. You can then browse the menus, place your order and make your payment.
It's worth noting that every Guest room at Disney's Pop Century has a small refrigerator, which is so useful for storing bottles of water (which can also be purchased at Everything POP Shopping and Dining).
It is also worth noting that this Disney Resort hotel is linked to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios by the
Disney Skyliner! This is a lovely efficient way to travel to these theme parks, while enjoying a bird's eye view of the Resort as you travel along. The Skyliners are being loaded with one party per gondola at this time.
During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic, and
Dining: Know Before You Go, and keep watching the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates as they are announced.
Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
