Hi - I have read that it is not possible to get a first haircut at Disneyland but I was wondering if it is possible at one of the resort hotels? We are planning our 4 year old daughter's first trip to Disneyland at the end of March. Thank you!

    Hello there, Joanne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You and your princess are going to love your visit to the Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, there is not currently a Disneyland Resort location that offers haircuts. Though I do have a couple of suggestions that you might consider for alternative activities.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort is a place where dreams come true for girls and boys ages 3 to 12. Your little princess can be pampered by her own Fairy Godmother-in-training, with hairstyling, makeup, and even a little bit of pixie dust! My daughter beamed with joy when her Fairy Godmother-in-training opened her magic mirror to reveal the magical transformation performed on her at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Fancy Nancy would definitely approve!

They may not be the best at cutting hair, but the world-famous barbershop quartet, The Dapper Dans knows how to belt a tune. Look for this dynamic group to serenade your little princess on Main Street, U.S.A.

Tony’s Tip: Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for the much-anticipated announcement of the Spring 2020 opening of Tenaya Stone Spa coming to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The spaces in this full-service spa are breathtaking. Catering mainly to adults, Tenaya Stone Spa will even include salon services to pamper and style guests in a most luxurious environment.

I’m so excited for your little Mouseketeer to experience her first visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. You simply must stop by a Guest Relations or merchandise location to request a complimentary “1st Visit” button to celebrate.

I hope you have a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort, Joanne! Please stop by again if you have any more questions.
