I've read the new rules for the rundisney races over & over again and again. It specifies that no one over the age of 14 can wear a mask of any kind. What about face paint? Is this forbidden as well?

    Hi Lori! (great name!)

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am assuming you mean you have read the updated runDisney costume policies that were put into place a few months ago.  You are correct that a mask cannot be worn.  As for face paint, it should be fine as long as it complies with the other aspects of the rules:  family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.

I wouldn't recommend an elaborately painted face, mostly because I think it would be annoying to run with something like that. It could become very uncomfortable if there is humidity.   But, I think a little face paint should be fine. I've seen some creative use of face paint in past races.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
