Hey Howdy Hey Renee and welcome to planDisney!
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass options are great tools to maximize your time in the parks with less time spent waiting in lines. Logistically, booking these options can be tough at times, especially around dining reservations as you mention. Let's go over some tips to keep in mind when booking your experiences so you can have the most efficient and least stressful day in the parks!
You are correct Renee, that when booking Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass options you will not be able to book selections that overlap with dining reservations. Once your Lightning Lane window opens, you typically have 1 hour to redeem your experience. In most cases, you will be unable to book a Lightning Lane within an hour of your dining reservation due to this window.
Depending on your reservation and your Lightning Lane selection, it is a good idea to keep about an hour and a half between your last Lightning Lane and your dining experience. This should allow for any delays in the boarding process, lines and travel time to your dining reservation. I would use this same window on the back side of your dining reservation as well. Typically Disney Cast Members are super efficient at getting you in the restaurant and serving your meal quickly for all table service experience however things happen! This extra buffer should give you plenty of time to get your ride experience done, stroll over to your dining reservation and then back to the fun of the parks with less of a rush and plenty of time to account for any delays.
I hope this gives you a strategy when booking your experiences so you have the most efficient day and are not too stressed getting from one experience to the other! Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
