I have read that there will be a new fireworks show at Hollywood Studio soon (Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular). Will this be at the same (or similar) time as Fantasmic? Any other insights or details that you can share?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I don’t know what the schedule for Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ latest nighttime spectacular Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular will be. It’s likely a safe bet to assume that the schedule will be similar to that of the previous show, Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular. If so, both the fireworks and Fantasmic! aren’t likely to take place at the same time, but they will take place relatively close together.

If you and your family really want to see both shows, I recommend visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on two nights. If that isn’t possible, then I would recommend attending the first show of Fantasmic! (if there are two that night), followed by the fireworks, provided the schedules are compatible. I found it easier to get a good spot to see the fireworks (believe it or not, being near the Park exit gives you a GREAT view of the show) than it was to get decent seats for Fantasmic!

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
