    I just read that the Monorail wil stop running an hour after Magic Kingdom closing beginning August 1st. We are coming in December, planning MVMCP, and a few other "late" activities. How can we get back to the Contemporary if the Monorail is no

    Hi Terri,

    We have heard that rumor as well. However, it has not yet been announced on the official Disney Parks Blog. Rest assured that if Disney does decide to make this change, they will provide bus transportation for guests to get from the Special Events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. When I stayed at the Contemporary Resort, I actually walked back from the Christmas Party. It is a short stroll from the Resort to the front gate and I found walking it to be faster than waiting on transportation.
