    I have read mixed things, is there an Opening Ceremony at MK on mornings with EMH? If so is it the normal ceremony with a first family chosen? Going to WDW 9/14-9/18 trying to decide if we want to go early on 9/15 to try and be selected.

    I love the Opening Ceremony at Magic Kingdom! It's such a magical show with singing and dancing - and of course Mickey and his friends. And I particularly like it because I'm a big fan of the Mayor of Main Street!

    I have to admit, I'm an early bird but not an early Extra Magic Hour bird. I can't quite drag myself out of bed that early! So I had to check with some friendly Cast Members on this one. And yes! The Opening Ceremony does take place daily, even on days with Extra Magic Hours. So grab your coffee and head on over to the Magic Kingdom.
