I have read mixed reviews about POR. Is there not just one central bus stop that everyone uses? Does this take alot of extra time? My husband liked the idea of getting to go fishing here. We have stayed at ASM and Pop, wanted to try something differen

    Hi Dixie,
Port Orleans Riverside is a beautiful resort - and a very large one too!

This resort is divided into two main resort areas - Alligator Bayou (buildings 14-39) and Magnolia Bend (consisting of 4 buildings: Acadian House building 80, Magnolia Terrace building 85, Oak Manor building 90 and Parterre Place building 95).  There is a 'ring road' around the resort, and resort busses make four  different stops along this road (at the West, North and East bus depots, and the Main Building).

It does not take much extra time to wait at any one of these bus depots before you are on your way to one of the Theme Parks. If you would like to see a resort map in advance of your arrival, simply google 'Port Orleans Riverside Map' and you will find several websites that have it.   If you have a building preference, you can always make that request on your reservation and guest services will do their best to accommodate you.

Dixie, let me know if you have any more questions. Enjoy Port Orleans Riverside!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
