I read that there is a military discount for the memory maker ($98). Is this discount for retired military or only active duty? Thanks! Danyelle

    Hi Danyelle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First and foremost, I'd like to thank you and your family so much for your service to our country. I'm an Air Force wife and not only is it true that everyone serves, time away to focus on family is so vital. That's why I'm so thankful that Disney shows their gratitude to our service members through such amazing Walt Disney World Resort Military promotions and offers.

The special military rate of the Disney's "starts immediately" Memory Maker PhotoPass package is available to Eligible Service Members, defined as the following:

~ Active or Retired members of the U.S. Military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA.)
~ Retirees who served for 20+ years or are 100% disabled.
~ A Valid Military ID is required for purchase.
~ Spouses of the above also qualify if they are able to present a valid and active Spouse Military ID in the absence of their Sponsor.

To find the above info on the official Walt Disney World Resort website, scroll to the bottom section of the offer details on the U.S. Military Multi-Day Promotional Theme Park Ticket page. And bonus tips: if you match the above eligibility criteria, you'll also qualify for the military promotional tickets and a discounted Disney Resort Hotel Military room rate. And bonus bonus tip, I just helped another guest with their question about utilizing the amazing military promotional tickets that might also be useful to you, Danyelle.

I hope this helped plan your upcoming Disney Days, Danyelle, and We'll See You Real Soon!
