I read we can mail a coconut with a message on it from the Polynesian Resort. 1. Where do you do this at the Polynesian? 2.I want to mail it to my parents in Canada can I do that? 3. What would the cost be?

    Hi there Crystal,

I am crazy about anything to do with coconuts... especially DISNEY coconuts.  These mailable coconuts might possibly be the best souvenir ever invented, so I can totally see why you'd love to find one on your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

The coconuts are sold in 3 locations around the resort, at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar (Pirates of the Caribbean attraction's gift shop in Magic Kingdom), Calypso Trading Post at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and at Boutiki, Disney's Poynesian Village Resort's gift shop.  Unfortunately, availability has not been consistent and I do not recall seeing the coconut postcards on my most recent visit in September.  Merchandise changes all the time, though, so there is still a good chance they will have been restocked in one or al of these locations by the time you arrive.

The cost of the Coconut Postcard is $19.99 and this does include Priority Mail shipping through the US Postal Service.  I was told by a Cast Member at the Polynesian that you will be able to mail the coconut to Canada, but additional shipping charges will apply.  An estimate was around $7.00.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
