I read that the Magic Kingdom night time parade will be discontinued. Is that true?

    Hey, Jody!

Welcome to the Disney Park Moms Panel. Yes, it is true that on October 9, 2016, the Main Street Electrical Parade will have its last performance at Magic Kingdom Park before returning to Disneyland Park in California.

While we are all sad to it go, we know that Mickey and the gang will not leave us without some fantastic nighttime entertainment. Celebrate the Magic and Wishes nighttime spectacular are still scheduled to provide Guests with after dark entertainment.

Disney Dad Tip: My suggestion is to follow the Disney Parks Blog for the latest announcements regarding every happening at Disney theme parks including new nighttime entertainment. Also if you are unable to see the parade, there are many videos online of this fabulous illuminated processional.

Jody, enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
