I've read a lot about the new mugs for the quick service, one person wrote on one of the reviews that you can bring an older mug and pay a lesser price per day, do you have any info on that?? Thank you

Hello Karen!  The new Rapid Refill Mugs are being rolled out at Walt Disney World Resorts as we speak! These new mugs will have an RFID chip embedded in them, that will activate the soda machines for the length of stay, if included in a package, or the number of days purchased with the mug, if buying it separately.  The information you have read is incorrect.  The previous mugs, without the RFID chip, will not activate the soda machines.  Refillable resort mugs are only valid during the stay for which they were purchased - after that, they make a fun souvenir, but were never intended to be brought back and used for subsequent trips.

Karen, not all of the Walt Disney World Resorts are using the Rapid Refill Mug system yet, but they will be in the near future.  I hope this information helps to clarify the new mugs for you!  Have a magical day!
