    I read a link about a new Meet & Greet in MK called "Pete's Silly Sideshow" where you can meet some characters in special costumes. Donald is my boyfriend's favorite! I am visiting Sept 13 - 21, 2012. Is there an official open date for this

    Hi Andrea,

    Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to experience Pete's Silly Sideshow on your next Disney vacation.  The official opening date for the New Fantasyland is December 6.  There will be soft openings prior to that date, but not in September.  I guess you'll have to start planning a 2013 trip!

    Of course, your boyfriend will still be able to find his favorite character.  Donald Duck can be found in Frontierland and in Town Square throughout the day.  In Epcot you'll find him at the Character Spot in Future World and near the Mexico Pavilion.  He's often at the Sorcerer Hat in Hollywood Studios.  In Animal Kingdom you can sometimes find him in Camp Minnie-Mickey.  There are also several character dining experiences that feature Donald.
