    I've read that there are kids games & activities around the WL pool. What can we expect?! Also what time does the marshmallow roast and movies begin?

    Hi Laura! The Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort choice when staying at Walt Disney World. I could just sit in the lobby for hours as I love the feel of being out west in one of the National Park Lodges.

    The pools at the Disney resorts are always full of fun and activities and the Wilderness Lodge is no exception. Every afternoon there will be a pool party which can include lots of music and dancing and other fun activities such as hula hoops. Every day will bring something new and it often depends on the cast member in charge as to what the fun will be on any given day. It also can depend on the number of guests participating.

    The marshmallow roasts and movie under the stars is a great way to relax for at least one evening. Times change especially according to the shorter days in the winter and longer ones in the summer. The event times will be dependent on the date of your vacation. Generally 8pm is a start time for activities such as these. When you check into your resort you will be given an activities guide for the week which will list the exact times for everything during your stay.
