I've read on the internet several times that people should avoid the parks with extra magic hours. We are staying in the resorts so we are able to use the extra magic hours but i'm starting to wonder if it is really worth it after what people are saying.

    Hi Miloann!

In our experience, Extra Magic Hours ARE worth it--IF you get there at the opening of the morning Extra Magic Hours, and come toward the END of the evening Extra Magic Hours.

Typically what happens is that Extra Magic Hour Parks tend to be busier on the days that they are the designated park just because many people take advantage of the early entry and then STAY at that park for the remainder of the day.  Our strategy?  We hit the EMH park as close to the early entry time as possible, do everything on our list; then leave for another park.  It works for us, as we can get many attractions done with minimal wait, and then head over to another park and get there as close to that park's opening as possible.

With evening Extra Magic Hours, we tend to hang back a bit and wait for the crowd to thin out.  With little ones, we just take a late and LONGER nap that day to help the kids deal with the later hours and we sleep in the next day.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
