Hi Lynette! Welcome back to planDisney! Two of my favorite things about the
Walt Disney World Resort are food and transportation. Your question lets me answer both!
Let me start off by saying
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite resort, not only at Walt Disney World, but possibly anywhere! Where else can you find a resort that has deluxe accommodations with an animal-filled Savanah surrounding the entire perimeter of the property! My family and I have stayed here numerous times and each visit only gets better. There are also a number of outstanding restaurants that not only have amazing food, but tell a story as well. The
Indian-style Bread Service at
Sanaa delivers on both of these!
To get to Sanaa from any theme park, simply take the
Walt Disney World Bus Service from the park to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village.
Mobile Ordering is available from Sanaa and can be found in your
My Disney Experience App appropriately named, Sanaa To Go. I would recommend placing the mobile order on your way to the restaurant and then notifying them on the app to make your order upon arrival. There are some beautiful areas around Kidani Village to enjoy your meal and take in the beautiful scenery.
The Sanaa Lounge offers seating on a first come, first serve basis. While the lounge limits their menu to only appetizers and salads, the Indian-style Bread Service is one of the items that is offered. If you want to try your luck, you may be able to land a seat in the lounge upon arrival.
Lynette, since bus transportation does not run from resort to resort, you will need to return to a theme park or
Disney Springs when you are finished. Once you arrive there, you will be able to take the appropriate transportation back to your resort.
I hope you have the most magical vacation yet, Lynette!
See ya real soon!
