I've read that it's important that you get into MK early on July 4th because they reach capacity quickly. Is this typically true for July 3rd as well? I have a BBB appt scheduled at 10 in DD, so we wont get to MK until after noon.

Hi Christina and fellow Hoosier! July 4th in the Disney parks is indeed one of the most crowded of the year. Everyone knows how fabulous the park fireworks and celebration will be and they want to get an up close spot to enjoy it all on this very special day for our country. It is definitely important to be there early on the 4th. July 3 usually is crowded and they often will also have the same fireworks celebration on the eve of the 4th but the crowds tend to be a bit less. It would be impossible to predict what the crowd flow will be and you can check with your hotel concierge about what they feel will be a prediction. I would keep the appointment for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and head over to the park right after.
