Just read because you have hotel reservations does not mean you will get into a park. We have tickets & a reservation does that still mean we might not?

    Hi Nicole!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Firstly, I am happy to see that you have a trip planned for July, and I am confident that Walt Disney World Resort will still be a wonderful place in which to enjoy our vacation time.  The current situation is constantly updating, but for now all existing dining reservations and Disney dining plans including in packages are regrettably being cancelled due to limited capacity.  The 180-day booking window for dining reservations will change to a 60-day booking window to allow guests to make their dining reservations closer to their arrival date.

The planned phased re-opening date for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is currently July 11th, to be followed by EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios on July 15th, and you are correct in thinking that if you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation this does not guarantee you entrance to any of the theme parks.  To enter a theme park, once re-opened, both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date is required.  Information about the new park reservation system will be shared soon.  Park reservations will be limited, and subject to availability.

We may need a little more considered and careful planning, but it can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic, and keep your eye on any new posts from the Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.

We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit. Please know we’re working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share.  Come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
