I had read and heard from a friend that there are certain table service restaurants that you can use two quick serve dinners at. Is this true and, if so, which restaurants offer this?

    Hi Barbara,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question.  My family so looks forward to having one of the Disney Dining Plans when we go on vacation.  The Dining Plans make vacation planning and budgeting very easy and carefree for us.

While there is a great deal of flexibility with the order in which you can use your Dining Plan meal and snack credits, there are certain hard rules.  Combining two quick service meal credits into one table service credit is not allowed.  Sometimes Guests have in the past been allowed to "downgrade" their credits - such as exchanging one quick service meal for two snacks, the opposite doesn't occur.  Even downgrading your credits isn't guaranteed since it is not part of the written dining plan rules.  It doesn't hurt to ask, but don't count on this possibility.  Personally asking to exchange a quick service meal for snacks doesn't appeal to the Frugal Mom part of me.  It's just not a good value to me.

I hope this information help in your vacation planning and that you enjoy the Disney Dining Plan as much as I do.  Please come back with any more questions that you might have about your Walt Disney World vacation.  We love to help!

    Have a Disney Day!
