I've read about having a stationary Skyliner gondola when getting on. How do cast members at the station you are going to know that you need the gondola to be stationary for you to disembark? We will not have a wheelchair or scooter at that time.

    Hello Cathy!

I love using the Walt Disney World Transportation System to travel around "the World"! The Disney Skyliner has become my favorite method of gliding above the ground to get to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Based on my experience with Disney's Skyliner, there are two options for you. The first is to use the regular Skyliner Guest line and speak to the Skyliner Cast Member when you board about your need to have the Skyliner Gondola be slowed down or stationary to get on and off. The Cast Members have a magic way to mark the Skyliner Gondola so that it will be slowed down or stopped at the end where you get off, according to my experience. The second option is to ask a Skyliner Cast Member to get into the line for the wheelchair or scooter which offers a totally stationary Skyliner Gondola boarding and disembarking because the Skyliner Gondola is taken off the mainline for loading and unloading.

I hope your Disney Skyliner flight is magical on your next Walt Disney World vacation!
